By Daily Mail Reporter

Peaches and cream: Cheryl Cole, sporting a glowing complexion, flashed her perfect smile as she arrived at The Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards in a pretty long Sass & Bide gown in London

It's been a testing time for Cheryl Cole lately as her future career across the pond hangs in the balance.

But today, the pop star put on a pretty frock and her winning smile as she came out in support of a worthy cause.

The Girls Aloud singer looked just peachy in a long Sass & Bide gown, that was slashed to the thigh, perfectly complementing her slender frame and toned legs.

She was a guest at The Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards that took place at the Odeon in Leicester Square in London.

Cheryl, 27, has recently joined forces with the trust and has set up a charitable foundation in aid of the organisation which was established by Prince Charles in 1976.
'They have so much potential - but can go off the rails without the right care and support. I want my foundation to help them realise their potential and get their lives on track.'

It's a positive thing for Cheryl to focus on at the moment as she waits to hear whether she will definitely be joining the line-up of the U.S. version of the X Factor.

She said she wanted the foundation to help youngsters fulfil their potential and said: 'Too many young people grow up thinking no-one cares and don't believe they can make anything of themselves.

TV executives were said to have ruled her out because of her strong Geordie accent and lack of profile in America.

But yesterday, reports emerged that she will be taking a seat next to Simon Cowell after the music mogul is said to have convinced Fox TV bosses about the former Girls Aloud singer.

But it was business as usual for Cheryl who met up with his Royal Highness inside the event and posed for pictures, which he was only too happy to oblige with.

She was joined by her Girls Aloud band mate Kimberley Walsh who kept it chic but simple in a fitted white dress, that clung and plunged subtly in all the right places.

And with the sun shining warmly and brightly in the capital, she wasn't the only one to embrace the summery colour.

Daybreak presenter Christine Bleakley also opted for a chic white dress, while TV presenters Konnie Huq and Emma Willis went for something a little darker and wore purple.

And while actress Naomie Harris arrived fresh-faced and in a pretty floral top, singer VV Brown wore a gold foil-esque dress that looked too heavy for the warm weather.
